Czech Republic
The Czech Republic may be small, but it delivers big for travelers to Europe. Any solid Czech Republic travel guide will start with Prague—and for good reason (I promise I'm not biased just because I live here). The capital city is genuinely epic. Look past the beer tourists, and you’ll find pure architectural beauty: Gothic towers, cobblestone streets, and the stunning Old Town. Climb up to Prague Castle or Letná Park (beer garden with bridges over the Vltava view included) for some of the best panoramas in Europe.
Kutná Hora offers dramatic Gothic architecture, while Český Krumlov feels a little bit like a mini Prague wrapped around a river bend—perfect for a day trip.
Head south to Moravia and the vibe changes completely. Wine replaces beer, and the countryside reveals a quieter, more local side of Czechia that many travelers miss. If you're interested in non-touristy places that leave an impact, this is it.
Add the country’s compact size and its easy connections to Austria and Germany, and the Czech Republic becomes one of the easiest and most rewarding destinations in Central Europe.
