Turkey, the land where Europe meets the Orient, is known for its bazaars, hamams, food, and landscapes. From fantastic beaches to the peculiar landscape of Cappadocia, you could spend weeks trying to get to know the country and still not feel like you got your foot in the (very hospitable) door.
We toured the former capital of the Roman Empire, Istanbul, and found the best places to visit and the top fun things to do, like embarking on a sunset yacht tour and eating way too much baklava before visiting some incredible mosques.
But the true highlight of our Istanbul trip? Getting scrubbed down by a stranger in a really hot room! A luxury Turkish bath needs to be on your Istanbul itinerary!
