Wales
I spent 10 days road-tripping around Wales and still had to leave places out. It's one of those countries that completely messes up your itinerary planning. Every region has another spectacular coastline, another fairy-tale castle, another mountain hike, or another historic town that feels worth "just one more" detour.
For me, the best of Wales is a combination of Pembrokeshire's dramatic coast, the mountains of Eryri National Park, and medieval towns like Conwy. Add in some of the friendliest people I've met and surprisingly sunny weather (yes, I got sunburned in Wales), and it's hard not to fall for the country.
Whether you're planning a complete Wales road trip or just choosing which regions deserve your limited time, you'll find my firsthand guides, itineraries, hikes, and planning tips here.
