Luxembourg

Luxembourg took me a little longer to appreciate than most countries. I arrived expecting a postcard capital and left remembering river valleys, fortress walls, castles perched on rocky cliffs, and one of the best WWII memorial trails I've ever seen. Luxembourg City grew on me, Vianden Castle completely lived up to the hype, and free public transport turned out to be far more useful than I expected. Yes, even for me, Mr. Anti-Public-Transport.
